Gold Vermeil (pronouced ‘ver-may’) consists of depositing and bonding a thick layer of solid gold on high quality sterling silver. Vermeil is hypoallergenic and safer for sensitive skin. It is durable and resistant because the silver is wrapped in a thick layer of gold which prevents it from tarnishing.
